Alparslan Buyuk Seljuklu is based on the lifestory of Muhammad bin Dawud Chaghri who was the second Sultan of the Great Seljuk Empire, great grandson of Seljuk Gazi, the founder of the seljuk dynasty. This series will depict heroic victories of Muhammad Alparslan Against Byzantine Empire.
On 26 August 1071, Seljuk Empire under the command of Alparslan achieved a historical victory against the Byzantine Force. Emperor Romanos IV Diogenes was held captive. After the historical victory Turks started to settle in Anatolia.
