Former Fenerbahce Midfielder, Arda Guler is a Turkish professional footballer. Spanish Club, Real Madrid has signed Arda Guler on six-year deal. Arda is widely regarded as one of the most promising young players in the world and has been compared to Football Superstar Lionel Messi for his playmaking ability.
He was born in Altındağ, Ankara, Turkey, on 25 February 2005. Joining the Fenerbahçe youth academy at the age of ten, he quickly rose through the ranks. In 2020, he was promoted to the Fenerbahçe U19 team, where he scored 14 goals in 15 appearances.
In January 2021, Guler signed a professional contract with Fenerbahçe. He made his first-team debut on 19 February 2021, in a Süper Lig match against Sivasspor and He became the youngest player to ever play for Fenerbahçe at the age of 16 years and 11 months.
Guler has since established himself as a regular in the Fenerbahçe first team. He has scored 6 goals and provided 7 assists in 35 appearances in the 2022-23 season. He has also been called up to the Turkey national team and made his debut in November 2022.
Real Madrid have completed the signing of Arda Guler and they have reportedly paid €20 million to pen a six-year deal with the Turkish prodigy. Real Madrid said on Thursday it signed 18-year-old midfielder Arda Guler from Turkish team Fenerbahce. Guler, who also plays for Turkey’s national squad, signed with the Spanish club for six years, Real Madrid said on its website.
